Sun Wing Ming Industrial Limited is one of the world-class leaders of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) in the toys industries and consumer products. Established in 1970, Sun Wing Ming is headquartered in Hong Kong with its manufacturing facilities situated in Dongguan, China. For more than 50 years, the company has been engaging in producing a wide range of products varying from basic decorated molded figures to high-end collectible dolls, stuffed toys and also electronic products. We own a mature engineering and creative design team, our remarkable production capacity is also as outstanding. Over the years, we have significantly expanded our production capacity. Our factories in China now provide a total production and warehouse area of approximately 40,000 square meters. Our workshop floors can accommodate more than 50 auto and semi-auto 80-120 feet assembly lines, we hire over 2000 skilled workers at peak.
We are equipped with over 130 injection machines with a wide range molding capacities. From our long-time experience, it’s important to meet safety standards while keeping the high aesthetic value, thus we work closely with clients for appropriate materials selection. The workshop fully adopts automation; it provides high efficiency and productivity. As a result, we can approach our customer shipment efficiently.
We own 22 highly efficient rotational casting machines and 1 automatic rotational casting machine. The design pattern is validated by experienced engineers to gain high quality casting. They look into every process entirely to find out an outstanding quality result. The workshop also provides customer service on mold restoration & modification.
The department significantly builds a variety of fabric library, providing various kinds of dress styles, fittings for our clients to select. We pride ourselves on the quality craftsmanship and fancy doll princess outfits we have created all these years. We are also trusted by clients to make collectible items. This department coordinates with project team from design development, custom color matching to overall fabric and material guidance. We own 300 sets of normal sewing machines and more than 150 sets of computer sewing machines.
We have numerous single needle rooting machines and three needles rooting machines for different complex hair styling production. Our skillful rooting workers root the hair for dolls in different head size and thread thickness before passing it onto the grooming department. The hairstyle of each character can make the doll come to life. And our craftsmen are able to create customized hairstyle that involves braiding, gluing, combing, cutting, styling to achieve the character’s signature hairstyle. Sometimes, they also style the eyelashes for dolls with prominent eyelashes design created from thread.
Along with the implementation of 88/378/EEC and ASTM F963 in those years, SWM has established QA department for product’s quality assurance since 1998. In the beginning, there was only simple torsion n tensile test. After years, the internal laboratory has developed multiple tests for meeting International Toys Standards. In order to meet Global toys directive, we have equipped ICP, GC Mass and HPLC for previewing all incoming material’s specific hazardous substances inspection. We also engage outside-lab firms to provide trainings for new directive updates regularly. We are able to perform ASTM F963 (US), CCPSA (CA), EN71 1-2-3 (EU), ISO 8124 (Au) and GB 6675 (China), etc. We promise doing the best to protect our client’s product safety and quality.
We are equipped with different product packaging machines such as automatic blister high frequency machines, shrink-wrap tunnels, vacuum packs, heat seal, PS foam, air-bubble blister stuffing to ensure the goods for protection and transportation purpose. We work along with clients to develop the packaging design because packing can be integrated as part of the play set which increases the value of the toy. We are aware of the laws and regulations restricting the use of different packaging materials. Hence we will work with clients to fulfill the respective requirement in the countries where their products are sold.
Our engineers digitize the cut pattern via CAD, and then optimize it for the laser beam cutting machine to proceed. Our laser beam cutting machines allow high production of fabric sheets and ensure minimal wastage during the procedure.
We own an aesthetic design team who works on the expression of doll eyes and detail features. The designed doll face will pass onto the spraying team for mass production. Some of our experienced craftsmen are responsible for hand-applied paint and other touch-up procedure. The spraying department has 300 spraying booths, 200 automatic spraying booths, and 60 Tampo printing machines.
